A Washington state real estate agent was showing his home to buyers when he found the body of a dead woman inside, officials said. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said several people were looking at the home in Camas on Sunday when they saw the gruesome discovery. The sheriff’s office said in a news release Tuesday that deputies arrived at the scene to find “a deceased female with what appeared to be a gunshot wound” and contacted the Major Crimes Unit for a homicide investigation. Residents in the area were interviewed and a person of interest was identified, the sheriff’s office said. On Monday, a man of interest was found dead in Oregon “from what investigators believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the news report continued. The investigation by the Clark County Major Crimes Unit continues with the assistance of several police departments in Oregon.
