Tallahassee, Fla. (WCJB) – The cost of buying a home continues to rise.
Figures released Thursday by Florida Realtors for July showed a decline in the number of homes sold, but a rebound in the median sales price.
In the Gainesville market, median prices are up nearly 19% from a year ago.

In Ocala, price increases have increased nearly 25 percent.
Homes here are still selling for well below the statewide average of $412,000.
