First house

I bought a townhouse in Heathwood St, Ringwood East probably in 2012, when I was in my late teens or early 20s, living in opposite an investment.

I’ve done a few renovations alfresco and outdoor deck with some good friends who are trendy and managed it all.

Living with one of my best friends, I have very fond memories of the house.

Current house

I am currently selling a three bedroom weatherboard house at 36 Lascelles St, Coburg.

This took me and my partner Olivia about six to eight months to get it to where we wanted it, which wasn’t easy when we bought it.

We wanted to retain the Art Deco features and retain that character during the extension and renovation, but we also wanted to modernize the property.

I think this place in Coburg is great, we’ve got a really nice streetscape with lots of heritage listed properties.

The idea is to buy more properties and work on them in the future, I just got the building permit.

Dream house

I’ve always liked the idea of going back to the Ringwood/Park Orchards area.

I love the size of the big blocks and being part of a small community, I loved spending time there as a child and have lots of family and friends that way.

The dream is to go to the outer east and maybe build that way and design the house in the way we want to live for a swimming pool, tennis court and that kind of thing.
