The Philadelphia Phillies are looking to do the impossible. The unfortunate injury to Bryce Harper a month ago should have spelled the end of his season. Instead, the Bruins are still fighting for a wild card spot in the Brutal National League. They continue to buy as their star returns from a hand injury.
Fans know that one player is synonymous with their team’s success this season. Nick Castellanos had a rough 2022 season after signing with the Phillies in the offseason. He has struggled to hit consistently this year, striking out several times. Fans attribute his struggles to a certain acquisition he made earlier in the year.
When he moved to Philadelphia, Nick Castellanos decided to buy former Sixers star Ben Simmons’ house. Even then, Phillies fans warned of bad juju about such a move. Now, as Castellanos struggles to hit anything, fans are asking him to sell that “cursed” house.

Despite Castellanos’ struggles in the field and Harper’s long absence, the Phillies are winning. A big reason for this is that Kyle Schwarber decided he would be the hero Philadelphia desperately needed. Schwarber has continued his stellar performance this season, keeping the offense going without their star.
Once again, the Phillies will return to pitching Nick Castellanos to reach their full potential, with or without Bryce Harper. The team signed him after a stellar season in which he hit 34 home runs on the season. If the team brings back that version of Castellanos… oh boy.
Currently, the Phillies fans petition has reached 350 signatures. We’ll see if this crazy plea continues, but man… Philly really hates Ben Simmons.
